Once again the popular Writers on Mondays sessions by Victoria Univeristy’s International Institute of Modern Letters will take place at Wellington’s Te Papa Museum (Level 4, Te Marae) from 12.15-1.15pm on Mondays from July 16 to October 1.
The sessions are free and will feature writers in conversation discussing upcoming and already published works. It’s a wonderful series of talks featuring established writers from disciplines including poetry, drama, fiction, criticism, and non-fiction forms.
The programme kicks off with Dylan Horrocks – Victoria University and Creative NZ’s Writer in Residence for 2018 – discussing his “Graphic World”.
The closing session is the popular The Next Page session where current poetry and prose students from the IIML’s Master of Arts in Creative Writing Programme will read from works in progress.
In between you will see and hear discussions and readings featuring Kate Duignan, Rajorshi Chakraborti, Harry Ricketts, Therese Lloyd, Chris Tse, Sam Ducktor-Jones, Tayi Tibble, Chris Price, Anna Jackson, Marty Smith, Greg Kan, Hannah Mettner, Arini Beautrais, Tina Makereti, Megan Dunn, Emily Perkins, Gig Fenster, the script-writers from the MA course and many more besides…For more information contact:
