I’m soon to jump on a plane and head to Sydney where I’ll be covering the opening weekend of the Vivid Festival – a festival of “lights, music and ideas”. I’ll take in a few talks, the future of photojournalism, the demands of writing content for the digital world. I’ll see the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House lit up like Christmas trees, all beautiful, all bold and striking.
And I will see – and hear – music. Beautiful music. I’m off to see Kraftwerk.
And I’ll check out Bobby Womack, hear the score to Blade Runner performed, and experience the world premier of the Scott Walker Bish Bosch: Ambiosymphonic multimedia show.
And you’ll be able to read about it here – right after each event. Reviews and snapshots. On the Facebook page too, no doubt. And Twitter.
Can’t wait. One more (half) sleep to go. And then it’s lights, ideas and music.
Thanks a bunch, Destination NSW
