The Vinyl Countdown # 970

Daryl Hall & John Oates, Hall & Oates Collection (1981)

Probably my favourite rediscovery of 2014 was the music of Hall & Oates – and so when I rushed out recently to buy Private Eyes I also returned with this – a handy collection of the duo’s earlier work – including some great songs like She’s Gone.  And it has the bonus of that spectacular record cover. Looking forward to using this and some other Hall & Oates as key summer party music…

The Vinyl Countdown is a document of every LP I listen to, brand new discoveries and old-old favourites; extremely pre-loved, previously abandoned or with the shrink-wrap having just been removed it’s all here at The Vinyl Countdown
