Julie London, Julie Is Her Name (1955)
The thing I love about going into the record stores is that you never (quite) know what you’re going to find. Even a store you visit regularly – something (new/second-hand-but-new-to-you) will always pop up. And so it was the other day when I found this wee gem. I love Julie London – but I’ve never owned any of her records. I had a couple of compilation CDs, I have several tracks from her, but never a full album. And then there it was: the one to own. Such a fabulous thing. A must-have. And now I have it.
Sample Track: Cry Me A River
