The Vinyl Countdown # 856

The Specials, A Message To You Rudy [Single] (1979)
2toneGeez I love The Specials – well, I love the first couple of records. You know they have to be one of my favourite bands that I hardly own anything by…one day I’ll get around to getting that classic first album on vinyl (I have the Mp3s somewhere, in the files…or had them) and I have some live albums, compilations…but not the stuff I really love. So the other day I saw this, a bit of a whim, figured I best have it. Started buying a few more singles just recently. They’re nice to have. I like sitting down with them, playing them through. Both sides. No complaints here of course. 2-Tone magic.

Sample Track 1: (Side A):  A Message To You, Rudy

Sample Track 2: (Side B): Nite Klub
FourThe Vinyl Countdown is a document of every LP I listen to, brand new discoveries and old-old favourites; extremely pre-loved, previously abandoned or with the shrink-wrap having just been removed it’s all here at The Vinyl Countdown
