The Vinyl Countdown # 642

Talk Talk, The Colour of Spring (1986)
TALK
Talk Talk – band I’ve always kinda loved, but never really owned. Obviously that’s changed – with this. And there’ll be others I’ll get to. Not sure why I’ve never owned anything by the band – always meant to. Always been a fan. Just a band I used to listen to a lot when I worked in a music store, used to play the albums – so perhaps I never felt the need to own them, to take them home. I don’t know. Weird. Anyway, I’m pleased to have this – a good one to kick off with; some great songs here. Top band. Love them a lot.

Sample Track: Happiness Is Easy

The Vinyl Countdown is a document of every LP I listen to, brand new discoveries and old-old favourites; extremely pre-loved, previously abandoned or with the shrink-wrap having just been removed it’s all here at The Vinyl Countdown
