The Vinyl Countdown # 476

Tangerine Dream, Near Dark [OST] (1987)
downloadHoly fuck Tangerine Dream has pumped out some albums eh…and d’you know, this is the only one I own. And I received it just over a week ago – a kind soul posted it to me. I haven’t seen the film either. But I did enjoy listening to the soundtrack as its own thing. And will continue on. And might finally get to some other Tangerine Dream albums even. Maybe…I’ve never been for or against them as such, just aware of them – and clearly only in a peripheral sense. I did have a great conversation once with the Kiwi cricketing legend John Wright. He was as massive fan, apparently. He also talked about how much he loved The Tubes. That’s about all I remember from talking to him one time, out of the blue….

Sample Track: Pick Up At High Noon
Tange
The Vinyl Countdown is a document of every LP I listen to, brand new discoveries and old-old favourites; extremely pre-loved, previously abandoned or with the shrink-wrap having just been removed it’s all here at The Vinyl Countdown
