Ray Parker Jr., Ghostbusters [Single] (1984)
For some reason I felt the need to have the theme song from Ghostbusters in my collection – so I bought it. Just recently. I loved the original film as a kid – and its sequel (at the time, but not lasting). And if you must know I loathed the remake but not because it had women in it – but I say that as a man, so who knows…anyway, someone else will decide why I really hated it, not me. That’s the rules. I am not obsessed with the theme tune to Ghostbusters at all – but I was way into the movie. And the computer game (Commodore 64, ho-ho!) And besides, with the b-side being the instrumental you get to sing I Want A New Drug along and see if you can make it all fit…
Sample Track 1: (Side A): Ghostbusters
Sample Track 2: (Side B): Ghostbusters (Instrumental)
