The Vinyl Countdown # 354

Schnell Fenster, Ok Alright A Huh Oh Yeah [Single] (1990)
You know you’re in deep with a band when you have multiple copies, when you’re collecting across formats…I didn’t think I was one of those people…and I’m still not sure I am…but I guess I am with Schnell Fenster – I’ve just put a copy of The Sound of Trees (on vinyl) on hold despite already having one. And for the Ok Alright single I have this, the 7” version and I also have the 12” version. Where that collects the title track in its original album and remix form and a b-side (Black Flower) this just has the title track and b-side (the same b-side). That b-side is really the highlight for me, which is not to say I don’t love the title track – I do. Both of them are on the Ok Alright album. Which I also have. On tape and CD too…Oh, and ladies, I’m already married…

Sample Track 1: (Side A): Ok Alright A Huh Oh Yeah

Sample Track 2: (Side B): Black Flower
The Vinyl Countdown is a document of every LP I listen to, brand new discoveries and old-old favourites; extremely pre-loved, previously abandoned or with the shrink-wrap having just been removed it’s all here at The Vinyl Countdown
