The Vinyl Countdown # 248

Peter Fonda, Peter Fonda (2018)
I have a very kind friend based in Australia who has hooked me up with some interesting vinyl from talented, if lesser known players. His philosophy is simple: connecting people with music, sharing his tastes, helping out his mates – his mates in bands and his mates that like music. He’s introduced me to great stuff – and with this album, by a band called Peter Fonda – nothing to do with the real Peter Fonda (recently departed of course, R.I.P.) he also got me one of the limited edition copies; the first 50 copies came with individual artworks on the record’s inner sleeve. A cool idea I reckon. I like this album too. Some great sounds here. Do check it out. Click on the bandcamp links. Get on board. The inner-sleeve artwork copies are now sold out I believe but you can still stream/buy from Bandcamp or buy one of the remaining 100 copies of this limited-print item.

Sample Track: You’d Know Best
The Vinyl Countdown is a document of every LP I listen to, brand new discoveries and old-old favourites; extremely pre-loved, previously abandoned or with the shrink-wrap having just been removed it’s all here at The Vinyl Countdown
