Toto, Toto IV (1982)
It’s very simple. If you play the drums or played the drums or ever had a drum-kit in your house then you are allowed to own a copy of this album by Toto. It is the only album by Toto you are allowed to own. And the only reason you have this album is because you want to be able to tell people that the song Rosanna is both about when one of the dudes in the band was boning Rosanna Arquette and it’s like a really cool/difficult drum-groove/feel. So if you find yourself with a copy of Toto IV at your house and you are worried that some music snob is coming around to inspect your collection, don’t panic. Run out and buy a drum-kit, the cheaper and shoddier the better. That way they’ll not only believe your story, they’ll assume you are still working on your version of the Jeff Porcaro version of The Purdie Shuffle.
Sample Track: Rosanna
