The Vinyl Countdown # 1615

Graham Bonnet, Graham Bonnet (1977)

I can’t say I’m any great Graham Bonnet fan – but this album came my way recently – received as part of a stack of unwanted records. And it was great to revisit some of the Bonnet magic. Great cover of It’s All Over Now Baby Blue (probably a pretty hard song to fuck up – but at least he doesn’t try, he nails it good and proper). And of course there was a certain Bee Gees-assisted gem that – though probably not catering to the taste of many these days – I can still enjoy. This album has found a new home. And I’m happy with that.

Sample Track: Warm Ride

The Vinyl Countdown is a document of every LP I listen to, brand new discoveries and old-old favourites; extremely pre-loved, previously abandoned or with the shrink-wrap having just been removed it’s all here at The Vinyl Countdown
