Jimmy Page, Death Wish II (1982)
This was one on the wish-list, kinda. In that I loved the film when younger – and loved the music as part of the film. And I’m a Jimmy Page fan; at least I want to be. But this about the last great thing he did. Really. So I always wanted to own this – found it recently and it’s been a nice thing to revisit. Love that Prelude he ripped from Chopin and reshaped. Now I want to watch the film again. [Click here to hear the whole soundtrack]
Sample Track: Prelude
The Vinyl Countdown is a document of every LP I listen to, brand new discoveries and old-old favourites; extremely pre-loved, previously abandoned or with the shrink-wrap having just been removed it’s all here at The Vinyl Countdown
