The Vinyl Countdown # 1339

Kraftwerk, Radio-Activity (1975)
Radio ActivityA strange album for some, but I really like this. I wasn’t going to pick up the new vinyl version – until I scored a trip to Sydney recently and saw the album performed in its entirety. As part of the build-up for that trip I bought this album – it’s now getting pretty hard to stop with the Kraftwerk vinyl reissues. They’re all great albums and now I want to collect the few left that I didn’t buy when they were first released. I love the Radio-Activity album – even though the real treat of that trip was seeing the Autobahn album RadioActvitiyperformed. Obviously. But since I’ve returned – and put away most of the Kraftwerk albums for a bit, this is the one that keeps making it out onto the turntable.

Sample Track: Radioland

The Vinyl Countdown is a document of every LP I listen to, brand new discoveries and old-old favourites; extremely pre-loved, previously abandoned or with the shrink-wrap having just been removed it’s all here at The Vinyl Countdown
