Daryl Hall & John Oates, No Goodbyes (1977)
I did not need this album at all – a compilation of the great Hall & Oates Atlantic years; their early/mid-70s blue-eyed soul classics. I did, however, want it. So I got it. A bargain it was too. And arriving at the right time – pre-lockdown. Hall & Oates has been one of my old-favourite go-to artists across the last year or so (and way back before that when I was a kid of course too) and I’m now way more into their 70s stuff than the 80s material I grew up on. So. That’s why I needed – or wanted – this for the collection along with the few others I’ve been picking up over the last year.
