The Vinyl Countdown # 110

Benny Goodman and His Orchestra, Sing Sing Sing [Single] (1975)
Something like this pops out at you and you grab it. A fiver. Done deal. A mono version of one of the most famous Benny Goodman staples – well three, really but the side A lead single is the one right. And I guess I first heard it in films and I have it in my collection on various jazz and big band compilations and at least one Goodman collection but the chance to have this 45 really appealed. One of those chance finds you get from still (and forever) browsing in stores. Chuffed to have this.

Sample Track 1: (Side A): Sing Sing Sing

Sample Track 2: (Side B): After You’ve Gone

Sample Track 3 (Side B): Goodbye
The Vinyl Countdown is a document of every LP I listen to, brand new discoveries and old-old favourites; extremely pre-loved, previously abandoned or with the shrink-wrap having just been removed it’s all here at The Vinyl Countdown
