Split Enz, Waiata (1981)
I like this album – it’s always been one of my go-to Split Enz records – obviously the big hit, the shining gem of a single is One Step Ahead (and I have the 45 of that) but this was my second favourite from the ‘silver’ box-set of CDs (when I owned that; how silly it was to get rid of it – they go for stupid money now…) I bought this to replace m copy of the “Australian Version” aka Corroboree and I got Eddie Rayner to sign it when I had a big long chat with him for my podcast.
