The Vinyl Countdown # 1042

Hunters & Collectors, Hunters & Collectors (1983)
Hungers cover
Mine’s the US version, released a year later  – not this one. I just found it in the shed, not sure where I got it from, second-hand store once upon a time no doubt. And stashed in the shed now because I haven’t played it in so long…I’ve always liked Hunters & Collectors but I haven’t spent a whole lot of time listening to them. Played a couple of songs in bands and then got pretty hooked on them via the Collected Works compilation, which, for a while at least, was a favourite CD – it’s certainly the reason I went back to this album (and Human Frailty and one or two others). Now this is out from the shed and back in the house. And back on the turntable. And I’m listening to this stranger…

Sample Track: Talking To A Stranger

The Vinyl Countdown is a document of every LP I listen to, brand new discoveries and old-old favourites; extremely pre-loved, previously abandoned or with the shrink-wrap having just been removed it’s all here at The Vinyl Countdown
