The return of the 5 O’Clock Shakedown: DJ Set

fiveAnother week, another last-minute call – tomorrow (Friday, August 29) I’ll be playing some records up at the San Fran as part of their Friday night entertainment. I’m the fill-in guy this week, again just helping out…here was last week’s set. I’ll try not to repeat too many…

The San Fran 5 O’Clock Shakedown includes a discount of 20% off tap drinks and I’ll be playing all sorts of stuff – probably digging into radio’s graveyard for some singalong nostalgia from the 1970s and 1980s – I love all that stuff that gets unfairly maligned and written off as cheese or ironically talked around as Yacht Rock. Well, I don’t love all that stuff. I plan to be selective. That’s the aim – select the records, put them on…a few things for you to groove to, a bit of cheese, a lot of fun. The kitchen’s open there too for some other tasty treats.san

So ease into your weekend, forget about the working week, enjoy a quality beverage.

I’ll be at the decks from 5-8pm. Come and make a request (anything other than “Fuck Off!”)

Later that night 360.
