The Faggets: WE DON’T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT SHIT

The Faggets

WE DON’T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT SHIT

The Faggets

Edgy, eh? Lol. I remember the excitement of being a teenager and finding songs by Ween albums by Method of Destruction, King Missile and whatever else. The swear words and silliness. The Frogs. Puerility. Gimme! It was stupid and it knew it. But where is the line and does it matter if the piss stains that coat the line are shaded with irony? Satire is getting harder to do, harder to prove and should be smarter.

This 7 song, 12-minute EP with ALL CAPS song titles like YOU’RE A FUCKING IDIOT and I HOPE YOU CHOKE ON COCK is, I probably don’t need to say, not very funny. Punk shenanigans by musical vandals – and hey, spray the fucking wall for all I care and fill your dirty boots / spill from your filthy mouths…but it’s a yeah/nah from me basically.

And then, WE’RE ON DRUGS arrives, pisstaking on Pearl Jam and Guns ‘n’ Roses and I sorta snigger. And then I WILL FORCEFEED YOU STALE CUM is a none-more-dumb punch-down on death metal. And it reminded me of when I used to giggle at M.O.D chanting “AIDS: Anally Inflicted Death Sentence” and then told the people I played that song to that I wasn’t at all homophobic…

I guess you’re either on the bus or you’re not. And I’m just not. Not anymore. Which makes this review at least as much of a waste of time as this EP. And arguably took me longer to construct.

And yeah – it’s all a big joke and they’re poking fun at the stupidity of being stupid. But still. Yeah/nah and actually nope. Big nope. No hope.
