The Dave Clark Five
All The Hits
BMG Rights Management (UK) Ltd
Here in one place is everything. I mean everything! I don’t just mean all the hits by the mighty Dave Clark Five. But basically everything. So much everything that I had to check I hadn’t dropped The Beatles, The Stones, The Monkees, The Monks, The Yardbirds, The Pretty Things, the very early Faces (Small Faces) and Mitch Ryder & The Detroits Wheels in a pail of nitrate.
I was glad (all over) by these various bits and pieces. My oh my, this is good. So up front and tremendous and correct and lovely sounding, all remastered and lively and either hip-af or never at all hip and does it even matter anyway?
There was a time when I might have thought that a Dave Clark Five compilation was meaningless to me in my quest. But now I feel like my quest is over. I can rest up (under a blanket) and bask in these glorious sounds.
The Dave Clark Five is everything to me right now. And within that vital everything is this magnificent compilation.
My new everything.
Was there actually ever a better band than the DC5?
Don’t answer that. I’m not listening. I don’t fucking care. You’re wrong. They’re right. They’re so, so right. They’ll never let you down. They’ve got what it takes. They’ll deliver it any way you want it. And etc. And fucking etc…
