Tall Tales & True: Poetry at Paraparaumu Library, Sunday, February 7, 2021, 2-4pm

The Cuba Press poets are the special guest at this weekend’s regular reading at Paraparaumu Library Meeting Room, thanks to Friends of Kāpiti Library. The poets will each read a few poems from their latest volumes and maybe some brand new work as well.

These poets are Janis Freegard (Reading The Signs), Rachel McAlpine (How To Be Old), Mary Cresswell (Body Politic), Richard Langston (Five O’Clock Shadows) and ME! (The Death of Music Journalism). We’re all published by The Cuba Press. Click those links above to check out each volume – you can order from the site or pick them up from Wellington’s libraries or all good book stores. There will be copies available on the day to buy and have signed.

The reading session runs from 2-4pm this Sunday, February 7 at Paraparaumu Library Meeting Room, 9 Iver Trask Place. There’ll be an afternoon tea served. See poster below for all the details. And check in at The Cuba Press for all book info and author details.

Hope to see you there. My first official reading of 2021. I’m really looking forward to it.
