Steve Barry / Judy Bailey: Elements

Steve Barry / Judy Bailey Elements Rattle Kiwi-born, Australian-based pianist Steve Barry studied under the Australian-based, Kiwi-born Judy Bailey and they quickly discovered kinship so Elements was recorded as a set of spontaneous pieces, duelling pianos working in tandem to create improvisatory works that hint at twilight moods and surprising shadows.

The Vinyl Countdown # 545

Average White Band & Ben E. King, Benny And Us (1978) Despite owning records by both Average White Band (AWB) and Ben E. King (BEK?) I didn’t know about this record until I saw it on the shelf the other week in the store. I was sold. Well, not quite. Wasn’t quite an impulse buy. […]
