Sweetman Podcast: Episode 95 – Gavin Rutherford

download (1)Welcome to episode 95 of Sweetman Podcast with support from our sponsors – T Leaf T, Yeastie Boys and Le Petite Chocolat.

This one is a conversation with Gavin Rutherford, he’s a Wellington-based actor closely associated with Circa Theatre – but maybe you’ve seen him across film and TV appearances also. He does voice work, some directing and anything that needs to be acted in – he’s currently on stage at Circa in their hugely popular Christmas pantomime. My son Oscar loved the panto so much he went twice – and reviewed it also. That review is referenced in this chat.

But long before the panto I wanted to talk to Gavin – I’ve seen him in dozens of productions and on TV and in film. He’s a talented and versatile actor.

I had never met him before – so in this conversation I felt I got to know him, as well as finding out about his work and why he does it, how he learned, what motivates him; how he pays the rent.

I loved this conversation and I hope you do too.

You’ve found this via the link on Facebook or Twitter and/or from the Off The Tracks website – it’s hosted at Soundcloud and to receive the episodes before you even get to these show notes you can subscribe on iTunes. You can also rate and review the podcast there.

Please enjoy episode 95 of Sweetman Podcast, my conversation with Gavin Rutherford.
