Welcome to episode 43 of Sweetman Podcast – not a full podcast as such, just a few thank yous and shout-outs and reminders, and a bit of a wrap-up of the year. At the start of 2016 I loaded up episode 13. Here we are 30 episodes later, conversations with international and local critics and musicians, actors, writers, chefs, winemakers and comedians.
I don’t usually do big intros for the podcast – I try not to. You’re here, hopefully, for the guest. To hear a conversation not a monologue. But in the case of this short episode (just 11 minutes) I talk through a few of the aims and expectations and my feelings about the podcast with some teasers as to what’s coming next.
Also – here you can find a playlist featuring tracks from my favourite albums of the year; the best from the very best of the albums I reviewed.
You’ve found this via the link on Facebook or Twitter and/or from the Off The Tracks website – it’s hosted at Soundcloud and to receive the episodes before you even get to these show notes you can subscribe on iTunes. You can also rate and review the podcast there. Sweetman Podcast has been brought you by Phantom Billstickers for the second half of the year 2016 with support also from L’affare and Yeastie Boys. Huge thanks to these great sponsors.
There’ll be one more full episode before the end of the year – and then the 45th will be loaded up just into 2017. Plenty more to come from there. Thanks for listening and looking forward to another great year of podcasting…
