Sweetman Podcast # 272: Jean Sergent

Hi and welcome to episode 272 of Sweetman Podcast – the first episode in a while. As with last year’s lockdowns I took a break from the podcast. But we’re back now – at least through until the end of the year.

Now – as you probably know, as well as the usual platforms (this site, soundcloud, iTunes/Apple) you can get to Sweetman Podcast on Spotify – follow it there and have it saved in your Spotify library. It’s on most of the podcast platforms besides the ones mentioned here.

This is a conversation with Jean Sergent. She is an actor, writer, producer, Tarot card reader, book reviewer and she is part of an acting family. This was my first time meeting Jean – though I’ve seen her in shows and we’ve corresponded (she’s also a publicist – so many hats!) – so I felt like we knew each other already.

Along with plugging her brand new show (the excellent Live Through This) we talked about her life and work, the grief that informs her new show and we talked about seminal influences such as The Young Ones, Nick Cave and Bob Dylan.

It was a wonderful chat. And it feels good to be back podcasting. I hope you are well – and I hope it feels good for you to be listening to this podcast again.

This is episode 272 of Sweetman Podcast. My conversation with Jean Sergent.
