Now – as you probably know, as well as the usual platforms (this site, soundcloud, iTunes/Apple) you can get to Sweetman Podcast on Spotify – follow it there and have it saved in your Spotify library. It’s on most of the podcast platforms besides the ones mentioned here.
This week I had a chat with Jeff Kingsford-Brown. He’s an actor. And though it was my first time meeting him, I’ve seen his work – watching him in a wide variety of roles (comedy, drama, musicals, pantomime) across the last decade.
Jeff lives in Sunny Otaki, so I took a drive up there to sit down with him last weekend and talk movies, and acting, lockdown and life. We talked about his early life, his training and the preparation that goes into developing a character or taking on a role.
We also talked about favourite screen performances by some acting legends.
Currently he is performing the title role in Elling at Circa Theatre in Wellington. There are still some performances left. If you click that link you’ll be able to read my (rave) review of this wonderful show and get to all the ticketing information also.
It was great to finally meet Jeff and I reckon we had a warm and wonderful chat. Hopefully the first of many. I’ve been a fan of his work and approach for many years.
So I hope you enjoy hearing this chat too.
This is episode 266 of Sweetman Podcast. My conversation with Jeff Kingsford-Brown.
