We’ve always enjoyed the pantomime at Circa – right back to when we went as adults without a kid (admittedly because a friend had a starring role, but we loved it). In recent years it’s been a great night of family entertainment and maybe we reached the peak with this performance – 2018’s season of Puss In Boots. Oscar wrote a review – not only that, he had been invited along in an official capacity, to review the show. Based on his previous year’s review of the panto. So he walked in 20 feet tall, a celebrity basically. He returned to it with his grandparents for a second viewing and even got a mention from the stage. (As did his review). This was it! And I’m still working to undo that damage. He thinks he’s going to follow in my footsteps. I wish for anything else for him instead! Stubs is an occasional feature here at Off The Tracks – looking back through the ticket-stub box and remembering how the show went down.
