I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the first time I saw this – nor the magnificent Stories from Elsewhere live show – but it was still great. I think the reason this was slightly not as good (for me) was because my comp-ticket had me stationed behind a pillar, in the one seat in the house that’s not great (ah well, beggars cannot be choosers as they say). Anyway, I admire so much of Rhian Sheehan’s work and ethic and music and these shows – in this case presenting the Standing In Silence album (a wonderful, must-have album) – take so much work.
Recently Rhian talked to me about this, the work involved and so many other things on an episode of my podcast. He’s a good friend and a very talented musician. I’m proud to know him and always curious about his next release or show or piece of work.
Stubs is an occasional feature here at Off The Tracks – looking back through the ticket-stub box and remembering how the show went down.
