She-Bop 2 –The Best Tunes From The Best Women in Music: DJ Set

She-Bop1Earlier in the year I threw together a bit of a last-minute idea and it was a ripper – we had a good old time, lots of cool music so we’re doing it again. Only songs from women lead singers – solo artists, bands – we’re talking Fleetwood Mac and Blondie and B-52s, but also Cyndi and Madonna and Beyonce, we’ll go all the way back though – Patti Smith and Diana Ross, back to the 50s for the teen pop of that era and up through the 80s and towards the present…

All Through The Night – we’ll start at 7pm and go for as long as there is a crowd.

Next Friday, July 28, at the San Fran. From 7pm…

I’ve collected up singles and soundtracks, compilations and original albums featuring the biggest female names and voices in pop music.

C’mon down and get into the groove…
