RNZ Reviews: November 2019

Once a month or so I have a chat on RNZ on their Afternoons show with Jesse Mulligan. These things start – randomly and stop in much the same way. I hope to keep doing this. For a while at least. I think I started in December of 2015, so now four years into  it or so…

It’s probably my last session for the year – though I’ll do another music feature (or two). But I reckon I made it count by picking a couple of great albums and playing a track from each.

For this session it was the brand new Spines album and also a tribute album to Tom Waits by female singer/songwriters.

As usual I played a track from each.

You can hear the chat and songs here.

I’ve also written about the new Spines album here and I wrote a review of the Tom Waits tribute here – so click on those links to be taken to the reviews.
