RNZ Reviews: August (2) 2019

Once a month or so I have a chat on RNZ on their Afternoons show with Jesse Mulligan. These things start – randomly and stop in much the same way. I hope to keep doing this. For a while at least. I think I started in December of 2015, so now four years into  it or so…

This month I had two bites at the cherry – speaking to Wallace Chapman in place of Jesse right at the start of the month then I was called in at the last minute to fill-in the spot for someone that couldn’t make it.

It was Phantom Billstickers Poetry Day on Friday, August 23. So, appearing the day earlier, I decided to feature some new-release spoken-word albums.

I played a track and talked about T-Bone Burnett’s new Invisible Light project and The Book of Traps and Lessons by Kate Tempest

You can hear the chat and the songs here

I also wrote about T-Bone album here and the new Kate Tempest here.
