RNZ Feature: One Minute Songs

About once a month or so I have a long chat on RNZ about a particular music or a theme – for their regular Tuesday music features.

I wanted to do something different this time, so came up with the idea of playing a bunch of different songs in different styles that are all just one minute (or even less). A bit of fun. A lot of punk and some hip-hop and a few pop songs too. Some really well known bands, some a bit more obscure. I also made a Spotify playlist of all the songs – there are two on there near the end we didn’t quite get to. Still, we played 18 songs in their entirety which must be a record for a radio feature on RNZ’s afternoons. To check out the chat and the song click here. And for the songs on their own see the Spotify playlist below.

And click here to check out any of the past features I’ve done for RNZ.
