Yes I like all poems
the good and the bad
some better than others
some never are
very good
but I like a good poem
the way we all should

I like poems that
rhyme all the time

I don’t like all of my poems
even though they are the best.
I try to treat ‘em nicely
see if I can get ‘em undressed.

I’ll take ‘em out to dinner
get ‘em drunk now and then
and perhaps if I’m lucky
I’ll get to touch in between
the verse.         Hey, it may
sound perverse
but that’s the best way for
you to measure your own work.

The best poem’s the one that lets
you put your hand up its skirt.
