Playlist: Simmering Rage For Sinners and Slaves

I’ve been listening to a lot of reggae and roots music of late – and always plenty of blues and funk and soul. But with the return of an interest in Jamaican music I’ve been thinking a lot about the word ‘Slavery’ and how it comes up and is used in a variety of songs – so I‘ve made this playlist based on the ideas around ‘Rage’ and ‘Simmering Rage’ and ‘Slaves’ and ‘Slavery’. Those were the words and ideas on my mind and then I chose a set of songs and put them together in the order you’ll find them in if you click on that link up there or this one right here
