Playlist: Real Groovy on a Saturday Morning

real-groovy-as1-150x150I was up in Auckland last week for a friend’s birthday but had booked a gig at Golden Dawn and if I was gonna be playing records there I figured I might as well use the other sides the next morning…so I hooked up a session at Real Groovy; they have weekend instore DJs, just guys and girls supplying the Saturday and Sunday soundtrack for shoppers. It’s a pretty good gig, you get to be in charge of the stereo for two hours and then you get some play-money (Vouchers) to go buy a few extra records with – feed the addiction, etc…

Anyway, I was pleased with my little throw-down set, thrown together with whatever would fit on the plane and trying not to repeat too many exactly from the night before (a few of the same bands or even albums but further down the tracklist…elsewhere new artists entirely). Anyway, it might work for you as a wee playlist so I put it together.

I hope you enjoy:
