David Bowie’s 70th Birthday: DJ sets at the San Fran, Sunday, January 8, 2017

downloadThis Sunday, January 8th, 2017, Wellington’ s San Fran will be celebrating David Bowie’s 70th birthday with a party fit for the legend. A selection of Wellington’s best DJs will play the best of Bowie from 4pm-late. There will be AV display of the legend and a lighting show over the dance-floor for the night time club session. San Fran hosted New Zealand’s best Bowie tribute night just days after the news of his passing in 2016. A year on they’re looking forward to celebrating the icon’s birthday with you.sanfrfasnas

I’m honoured to be among those playing the records on the day, picking personal favourites and of course taking those fan-requests…

This is my new favourite picture of Bowie. Until I saw it, I could literally never imagine him wearing shorts and a tshirt. But apparently he did…
